10 Super Simple Fun Fall Activities for your Family

With Autumn fast approaching, there’s no better time to start planning fun activities for you and your family than now. Autumn is a perfect season to enjoy some great outdoors activities and family bonding. No matter what your budget is, these are a few real simple ideas to make the most of this season!  



Baking 

 Autumn wouldn’t be autumn without some apple pies, pumpkin pies and cookies. Take your little ones apple picking and show them how an apple pie is made. This activity can become your spacial family tradition. Don’t know what to do with your leftovers apples? Make some apple cider. 


Enjoy a walk in the park 

 

 With the great weather and beautiful scenery, you can take a walk in the park with your loved ones. Breathe in every beautiful moment, take some pictures and tell stories as you stroll together. 

 Lay in bed 

 Laying in bed with your kids doing nothing is a great activity you should try once in a while. Enjoy each other presence while telling stories or recounting past events. Bring some popcorn and snack while you are at it. 

 Visit the pumpkin patch 

 There’s no better place to go during autumn than a pumpkin patch. Take a day off to visit this spot with your family. Enjoy carving pumpkins and taking pictures close to huge vibrant pumpkins. 

 Play with leaves

 

Bright colored leaves are everywhere during this season. While raking them in, you could have a time playing leaf jumping with your family. You can choose to create shapes, pile them then scatter them, or toss them in the air. This is one activity popular amongst many people during autumn. 

 Enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores 

Make a camp indoors and have some hot chocolate and s’mores. Alternatively, you can take the camp just outside your home. Enjoy family stories round a camp fire while sipping hot chocolate and roasting s’mores. 

 Take pictures for your Christmas card 

 If you are planning to have a family Christmas card, this will be an ideal time to start taking shots for it. Perfect weather, view and scenery, what more do you need to nail the perfect shot? 

 Create artworks/crafts 

Painting, coloring and drawing with the kids is a fun activity. Try doing some leaf painting or making tiny characters from pumpkins. Not only will this be entertaining for your kids, you will also be spending quality time with them.
